Overview

Precision Ag Specialists work directly with producers, offering technical assitance and support regarding precision agriculture practices.  Specialists may work with producers on developing and implementing nutrient management plans, developing maps for yield, input recommendations (possibly using the 4R's), and/or more intensive management for disease, water use, or pests, and assist in the decision making process for the types of nutrients, crop varieties, pesticides used.  Precision Ag Specialists may also provide technical advice to producers on cover crops, tillage and planting systems, and environmental/conservation practices.
